Ratio from two measurements
The tool divides waist circumference by hip circumference in the same unit and rounds to two decimal places. The ratio is dimensionless, so inches and centimeters give the same number as long as both measurements share a unit. Typical values run from about 0.7 to 0.95 in the healthy range, and anything above 1.0 simply means the waist is bigger than the hips.
