Three sensor dimensions
Horizontal FOV uses sensor width, while vertical FOV uses sensor height. Diagonal FOV first derives the sensor diagonal from its width and height, then applies the same angular calculation. Consequently, rotating the camera swaps the practical horizontal and vertical coverage but does not change the diagonal angle.
